The reflection coefficients of an inhomogeneous lossy medium illuminated by TE wave and TM wave are derived in closed form by using a microwave networking technique under the high frequency approximation, from which analytical inversion formulae to reconstruct the permittivity profile and Conductivity profile are further investigated.
