In this paper, the boundary-value problem of rotor negative-sequence eddy current field and its numerical solution by the finite element method(FEM) are discussed. A variational formulation is presented and the existence and uniqueness of the solution are proved. In this paper, the boundary-value problem of rotor negative-sequence eddy current field and its numerical solution by the finite element method(FEM) are discussed. A variational formulation is presented and the existence and uniqueness of the solution are proved. On application of FEM to the above stated boundary-value problem, a method for formulating the discrete equation and some related formulas are given in detail. The convergence of this method is proved, and a block diagram for programming is given. As an example, the distributions and losses of negative-sequence eddy current in rotor are calculated by FEM for SQF-75-275 MW turbogenerator. As the calculating results are compared with those of practical tests, thier close agreement is satisfactory. The effect of different wedge materials and mesh sizes on results of calculation is also discussed.

A composite electrical model is established for turbogenerator units operating in parallel and carrying resistive and motor loads, It is used to derive the transfer function of the controlled plant of the speed-power regulating system, and to clarify the problem of power-angle and speed oscillations under various conditions of generator operation, by analogy to parallel resonance in passive networks.

A new type of composite magnetic circuit structure has been developed. The calculation formula based upon the electromagnetic field analysis in combination with the epuivalent magnetic circuit analysis relevant to this design have been derived.It ensures the specified technical performance and decreases the amount of Permanent magents. Compared with an Alnico exciter, the technical and economical features of the REPM exciter have been found to be excellent. The successful development of this REPM exciter,as a typical machine, will contribute to the production of the REPM generators of still higher rating up to hundreds KVA.

为了提高大型汽轮发电机组励磁系统的运行可靠性和响应速度,我们研制了一台70千伏安、400赫芝,3000转/分的稀土永磁发电机,作为副励磁机。在研制过程中,设计了新颖的混合式磁路结构;推导了与之相应的电磁场分析与等效磁路相结合的计算公式。从而,既保证了所要求的技术性能,又减少了稀土永磁体的用量。与另一台铝镍钴副励磁机相比,其技术经济性能是优越的。这台作为典型机的稀土永磁励磁机的研制成功,将促进容量达数百千瓦的更大容量稀土永磁发电机的发展。
