This paper introduces the problem of quality control in aspects of reader unit, TL seeker, annealing furnace and cooling/marking method of TLD measuring system, and also introduces some problems of measurement techniques that are easy to be ignored by the people but are very important such as the scrub to heating pan and optical filter, the control of annealing temperature and the calculation of annealing time, etc.
The spectrum of the reference light source in the reader should match with that of the photoelectric multipier, the transmission coefficient of the optical system should be high and stable, the high pressure should be highly stable and the heat contact between the heater and the detector should be good.
Also, we provide the reader with a simple method and a fast algorithm for finding the closed forms of the discrete deconvolvers with minimal supports that constitute exact solutions of the DMDP.

The possibility of using a microplate reader (MicroReader 4, Hyperion, USA) and 96-well plates for the quantitative photometric analysis of paper tests is demonstrated.
These plates differ from the standard ones in that their wells are through holes with collars at their bottoms, which hold tests during absorbance measurements in the microplate reader.
