Present advances in research and application of botanical pesticides, including botanical insecticide, botanical bactericide, botanical fungicide, and botanical herbicide, are briefly reviewed. The mechanism of controlling pests by botanical insecticides, with specific reference to several typical plants such as Meliaceae,Leguminosae Derris Lour. and Celastraceae, are elucidated in detail. In view of the available information, the research in near future in this field,...

Present advances in research and application of botanical pesticides, including botanical insecticide, botanical bactericide, botanical fungicide, and botanical herbicide, are briefly reviewed. The mechanism of controlling pests by botanical insecticides, with specific reference to several typical plants such as Meliaceae,Leguminosae Derris Lour. and Celastraceae, are elucidated in detail. In view of the available information, the research in near future in this field, from the author's point of view, should be emphasized in particular on: (1) the application of biotechnology to the research of botanical insecticide; (2) research on botanical photoactivable toxin; and (3) intensive and extensive survey and research on plant resources. The research and application of botanical bactericide and botanical herbicide are far less intensive and extensive compared with the botanical insecticide. However, current research indicates that a wide range of plants hold the capacity of controlling weed, bacteria and fungi. There is, therefore, a great prospect to exploit plant resources to develop bactericide, fungicide and herbicide. 

综述了植物源农药(包括植物源杀虫剂、植物源杀菌剂、植物源除草剂)的研究和开发应用现状.较详细地介绍了几种典型杀虫植物(主要包括楝科植物、豆科鱼藤属植物、卫矛科植物)的杀虫机理和开发应用情况,并讨论了植物源杀虫剂今后研究的几个热点:生物技术在植物源杀虫剂研究中的应用;植物源光活化毒素的研究;杀虫植物资源的进一步调查研究.与植物源杀虫剂相比,植物源杀菌剂和除草剂的研究和应用要少得多.然而目前人们已经在植物体内发现许多具有杀菌、除草活性的物质,因此开发植物资源合成杀菌剂和除草剂具有巨大的潜力.

As an important part of bio-pesticides, botanical pesticides have become a study hotspot for pesticide researcher. In this paper, advance on botanical fungicides to control plant diseases was introduced from three aspects including fungi diseases, bacteria diseases and virus diseases since 1980.

植物源农药是生物农药的一个重要组成部分,是当今农药开发者研究的热点。从植物真菌性病害、细菌性病害和病毒性病害防治的研究3个方面综述了近20年来植物源杀菌剂的国内外研究进展。

In the paper the author makes a summary of antifungial plant resources, mainly fungicidal component, the bioassay of antifungial component and the development of botanical fungicide and raises some noticable questions in the screening of antifungal component.

综述了抗菌植物资源种类、植物中的主要抑菌成分、植物抗菌物质的检测以及植物源杀菌剂的应用开发研究,并提出了在抗菌物质筛选中应注意的一些问题.
