本文以JohnAustin的言语行为三分说为理论框架 ,考察和阐释“沃尔夫假说”。该假说的“言中行为”是 :语言不同的人思维模式亦不同 ,难以相互理解 ;“言外行为”是 :唤醒人们对语言和思维差异的认识 ,从而达到民族之间的相互理解 ;“言后行为”是 :在验证“言中行为”正确性的过程中 ,人们对本民族中心主义有了认识和反省 ,文化一元主义逐渐被多元主义取代。

The presence of cultural differences poses a series of problems in the course of English learning.This article discusses these problems from the aspect of cultural negative transfer and appeals for cross cultural awareness to improve learners cross cultural communication competence.

文化差异的出现给英语学习造成一系列问题。本文试图从文化负迁移的角度来探析这些问题 ,提倡学习者自觉增强跨文化意识 ,以提高跨文化交际能力。

This paper discusses the cultural features in College English from the perspectives of vocabulary, idioms, grammar and background knowledge. The author claims that only by combining the impartment of linguistic knowledge with theintroduction of cultural factors can teachers strengthen the students' cross-cultural awareness and cultivate their intercultural communicative competence.

本文从词汇、习语、语法和背景知识四个方面对大学英语中的文化特征进行了探讨。认为教师只有把语言知识的传授与文化因素的导入结合起来 ,才能增强学生的跨文化意识 ,培养学生的跨文化交际能力
