The Fe and Fe-Ni alloy matrix composite with 0~35at% glass have been produced by powder metallurgy. The result shows that, a profitable combination can be obtained between the glass additive and metal matrix after sintered; the glass can penetrate to the gaps and the grain boundary more easily at high temperatures and this lead to the higher sinteringintensity. When the glass is about 10at%, the soft-magnetic properties will be lower to some extent, but the high resistivity can be got, Simultaneously, the hardness and strength of the metal matrix will be increased, and the antifriction and wear-resisting, including anti-adhesive and anti-abrasive, will be greatly improved also.
