The performance of most micromachined devices depends on the interaction between forces generated by a variety of mechanisms. Simulating this coupled domain problem is made more difficult by the fact that most microelectromechanical system(MEMS) devices are innately three dimensional and geometrically complicated. The numerical simulation analysis is very important to enhance the design abilities of designers and accelerate the development of MEMS industry. In order to get the best efficiency for coupled electromechanical analysis, it is desirable to use the fastest methods for each of the domains of analysis. Based on a combined finite element/boundary element method, this paper presents a methodology for solving three dimensional coupled domain problems in electrostatic mechanical systems. Using single energy domain solver, the accelerated relaxation algorithm can be used to determine the solution to the coupled systems, so it is a general approach for mixed energy domain simulation of MEMS. Computational comparison between relaxation and accelerated relaxation algorithm is given. Numerical result presented for cantilever beam over a ground plane shows that the accelerated relaxation algorithm is converge rapidly and is much faster as compared to the relaxation algorithm.

Hydrogeological Spatial Information System (HSIS) is developed based on ARC/INFO. Hydrogeological Spatial Information System (HSIS) is developed based on ARC/INFO. It is founded on hydrogeological spatial database and supported on spatial application model system which consists of 23 models those belong to 4 classes including spatial statistic analysis, quantity calculation and potentiality analysis of groundwater, groundwater numerical simulation and synthesis evaluation. HSIS is composed of spatial database management module, model management module, spatial analysis module, spatial data's inquiry and index module, spatial data conversion module and system management module. Spatial analysis module is most important in HSIS. It is the integration of GIS foundational spatial analysis methods such as overlap analysis, buffer analysis, 3D analysis on various spatial information of hydrogeology unit in the survey area, and hydrogeology theme analysis methods including statistic analysis, groundwater quantity calculation, resource evaluation and potentiality analysis, numerical simulation analysis, hydrogeology eco-environment synthesis evaluation and analysis. It can be realized that analysis, predication, simulation and evaluation on groundwater are incorporate. The spatial analysis sub-system also offers a significant approach for real time and dynamic analysis of groundwater system. Then the system functions and stability are applied and validated by using the practical exploration hydrogeological data of typical region in western China. The applications include hydrogeology spatial information overlap analysis, precipitation series datum frequency spectra analysis, the statistical analysis among hydrogeology elements, hydro-chemistry classification in groundwater and groundwater quality assessment, groundwater resource assessment and potential analysis, numerical simulation and geologic eco-environment assessment etc. The application results show that this system greatly improves the validity and reliability of hydrogeological spatial analysis, as well as the efficiency of hydrogeological jobs. It also realizes the integrality of predicting, simulating, analyzing and evaluating groundwater based on GIS.

以区域水文地质信息化与空间分析为目标,以GIS软件ARC/INFO为平台,开发了以水文地质空间数据库为基础,以应用模型体系为支撑的水文地质空间信息系统。以中国西部典型区域的水文地质实际勘查资料为基础,对系统的功能及稳定性进行应用与验证。结果表明:系统具有速度快、准确性与自动化程度高、动态性与可重复性强和可视化程度高等优点,可极大提高水文地质空间分析的有效性、可靠性以及水文地质工作效率,实现基于GIS环境下的地下水预测、模拟、分析与评价的一体化。

The penetration of a plate-shell subjected to a high velocity striking load exhibits a very complex dynamic response process with highly nonlinear characteristics.To build on existing theory and testing measures,numerical simulation analysis using the LS-DYNA program was conducted on the penetration and perforation process that occurs when a high velocity missile and cone-shaped nozzle strikes a one-layer steel plate-shell.The scope of plasticity zone and crevasse shape and radii formed by a missile at different velocities and incidence angles striking a steel plate of different thicknesses was discussed and quantified. Simulation analysis clearly shows that striking velocity and incidence angle were the main factors affecting the plasticity zone and crevasse radii.This method can be used to solve the problem of impacting dynamics and to simulate and forecast the instantaneous response of a material subjected to impulsive loading.

板壳结构在高速冲击载荷作用下的穿甲是非常复杂的高度非线性动态响应过程,现有各种理论和实验研究方法都有各自不同的应用范围与条件.借助于有限元程序LS-DYNA对单层板壳结构在具有锥形弹头导弹高速冲击载荷作用下的侵彻、穿孔过程进行数值仿真分析,讨论弹体以不同速度、不同角度冲击不同厚度钢板所形成的塑性区域范围、破口形状和破口半径,定量描述了穿甲后钢板中的塑性区分布以及破口半径的大小.仿真分析表明,弹体的冲击速度和入射角度是影响板壳中塑性区分布范围和破口半径大小的主要因素.表明该数值算法适用于解决高速冲击动力学问题,模拟和预测材料在高速冲击下的瞬态响应.
