Combined with field observations,especially of the contrast between Kongling Group and Sttennongjia Group of adjacent area, it seems that the whole area had suffered a high temperature low pressure regional dynamo-thermal flow metamorphism in early proterozoic and, then,a regional low temperature dynamic metamorphism in late proterozoic.In recent years sevaral isotope ages older than 1700-1800 Ma. and other information were reported from West Sichuan, East Yunnan, Zhejiang and other province, all facts imply that the oldest crystalline basement of Yangtze platform is lower proterozoic and not middle-late proterozoic as usually proclaimed.

研究表明,黄陵变质地区崆岭群是神农架群之下的古老结晶基底,其中、下部为典型的孔兹岩系。作者首次在崆岭群孔兹岩系地层中取得可信度较高的锆石UPb一致线年龄2332Ma。同时利用K-Ar稀释法和Rb-Sr全岩等时线法获得的年龄值分别为1891和2010Ma.。这些数据证实,崆岭群属下元古界。由此认为,黄陵变质地区及扬子地台结晶基底的形成时代绝不是中晚元古,而是早元古初期。

Dendranthema indicum var. aromaticum is a new natural aromatic plant. It distributes in Shennongjia alpine primitive forest of western Hubei Province. Its concrete can formulate in various high perfumes. We first analyzed the absolute oil of its dry flower by GC and GC/MS/DS. We have identified 32 constituents from the absolute oil of its dry flower. The constituents belong to fatty esters, monterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids and its derivates.

The Oujiachong Member of the Xikuangshan Group, which consists of conti-nental sediments intercalating with marine beds, is overlain by the Tournaician Sh-aodong Group and underlain by Famennian Magunao limestone bed of the Xikuang-shan Group. The writer has obtained a lot of ostracoda fossils from the Oujiachon Member of the Xikuangshan Group in the Shaodong region of central Hunan andg carried out a detailed study on them. The ostracods of the Oujiachong Member include 6 genus; 7 species and 3 sp. indet.(6...

The Oujiachong Member of the Xikuangshan Group, which consists of conti-nental sediments intercalating with marine beds, is overlain by the Tournaician Sh-aodong Group and underlain by Famennian Magunao limestone bed of the Xikuang-shan Group. The writer has obtained a lot of ostracoda fossils from the Oujiachon Member of the Xikuangshan Group in the Shaodong region of central Hunan andg carried out a detailed study on them. The ostracods of the Oujiachong Member include 6 genus; 7 species and 3 sp. indet.(6 new species). Among them, the Cavellina is very abundant and the size of the shell of Baschkirina opima is small. They lived in the lagoon of fresh water. The collection described in the pre-sent paper includes the following species: Cavellina sublatiovata sp. nov., C. sticta sp. nov., C. postcosta sp. nov., Baschkirina opima sp. nov., B. brevis sp. nov., Kloedenia pulchra sp. nov. The species of Cavellina subla-tiovata, C. sticta, C. postcosta may correspond to Cavellina latiovata of Xie-jingsi Group of the upper Devonian from the western Hubei Province, Most of the ostracods belong to Devonian and a few of them belong to the Shaodong Group of Tournaician. The writer suggests that the Ostracods of the Oujiachong Member indicate an age of late Famennian of late Devonian.

锡矿山组上段(欧家冲段),由陆相沉积和海相夹层所组成,上覆地层为杜内阶邵东段,下伏地层为法门阶锡矿山组下段(马牯脑灰岩段)。笔者在邵东县锡矿山组上段采到大量的介形类化石并进行了详细研究。这些介形类包括6属、7种(6新种)和3个未定种,其中卡咪尔介十分丰富和壳体较小的丰满巴什基利亚介,它们生活在淡化泻湖里。本文描述的标本包括下列六个新种:近宽卵形卡咪尔介、斑点卡咪尔阶、后脊卡咪尔介、丰满巴什基利亚介、短巴什基利亚介、美丽克罗登介。前三种和中国湖北西部上泥盆统写经寺组宽卵形卡咪尔介对比,多数介形类属于泥盆系,少数属于杜内阶邵东段。笔者认为锡矿山组上段介形类属晚泥盆世法门期晚时。
