The new Schiff base of 4-OH-Sal-L-Met. K and its Mn(Ⅱ) complex have been synthesized by an improved synthetic method. Both of them were characterized by elemental analysis, thermoanalysis, conductance measurement, IR, ~1H-NMR and electronic spectra. The preliminary test of anticancer activity in vivo showed that Mn(Ⅱ) complex had effective anticancer activity against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma, the inhibition ratio was as high as 64.71%.

通过对氨基酸席夫碱合成方法的改进,合成了未见报导的4-OH-Sal-L-Met。K席夫碱及其锰(Ⅱ)配合物,并由元素分析、热重——差热分析、摩尔电导、红外光谱、氢核磁共振谱、电子光谱进行了表征。抗癌活性初步试验表明:锰(Ⅱ)配合物对艾氏腹水癌具有显著的抗癌活性,其抑制率达64.71%。

Economical and effective deoxidation of liquid steel is always the keypoint that metallurgists pay attention to. In this paper, the simulated experiment of deoxidation in which Al-Si or Al-Mn complex deoxidizers replace pure aluminium as final deoxidizers is described. The experimental results indicate: deoxidation with Al-Si or Al-Mn is more efficient than that with pure aluminium. Especially, the removal of deoxidation products with Al-Mn is easier than that with Al-Si or pure aluminium....

It is confirmed that the M(TTA)2 and 4, 4'-bipy form one-dimensional infinite linear structure. The crystals of Mn(Ⅱ) complex belong to triclinic system, and space group is PI. Its unit cell parameters are: a=0.9549 (2), b = 0.9600 (3), c = 1.1656 (3) nm; α=65.99 (3),β= 83.96(4),γ= 68.89(3)°,V=0.9017(4)nm3,Z = 1;Dc = 1.417g·cm-3;μ= 5.3cm-1; F(000) = 398. Final R=0.067. The local coordination geometry around Mn(Ⅱ) is a distorted octahedron. From ESR spectral parameters, the coefficients of molecular orbitals and bond parameters are calculated approximately. The determination of variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility shows that the magnetic susceptibility of Mn(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) complexes obeys the Curie law.
