An analyse is made on the balance problem with diamond grinding wheel in electric porcelain mechanical grinding processing. It proved that the effect of centrifugal forces is the one of main causes for components abrasion and machine vibration. The measures when diamond grinding wheel is adopted for grinding insulator bushing are proposed as follows, considering the whole quality at acquisition the diamond grinding wheel;setting up the acceptance examination system; balancing the diamond grinding wheel at installation; proper operation and maintenance of the diamond wheel. Finally, the author points out that it is inevitable to develop higher rotational speed and accuracy for diamond grinding wheel.
