Simultaneous photometric determination of zinc and copper using CCD-diode array detector with multivariate calibration of PLS was studied and reported in this paper. The detection limits are 0. 05μg·ml-1 for zinc, and 0. 02μg·ml-1 for copper. The proposed method has been successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of zinc and copper in grain. The average recoveries are found in the range of 93. 3%-95. 7% for zinc and 92. 2%-102. 8% for copper with RSD of 2. 9% -7. 0%. The proposed method is more sensitive, more accurate and faster than the ordinary spectrophotometric method.

The colour reaction of nickel(II), cobalt(III) and copper (II)with 5 bromo (2 thiazolylazo) 5 dimethylaminobenzoic acid(5 Br TAMB) was discussed. And a colour reaction system suitable for nickel, cobalt and copper all was developed. By using this analytical system and CPA matrix, a novel method for the simultaneous photometric determination of nickel, cobalt and copper has been proposed. In the presence of acetone, KIO4 and anion surfactant(NaLS), nickel, cobalt and copper all can react with 5 Br TAMB to form stable complex in HAc NaAc buffer solution of pH=5. Their molar absorptivity are 1.20 ×10 5(nickel at 622 nm),1.09×10 5(cobalt at 670 nm), and 5.4×10 4(copper at 626nm). This method is simple, rapid, selective and can simultaneously determine three components directly without separation.

利用新合成的显色剂 5 -溴 - ( 2 -噻唑偶氮 ) - 5 -二甲氨基苯甲酸 (简称 5 - Br- TAMB)通过各种条件试验 ,建立了镍、钴、铜三元素同时测定且选择性良好的分析体系 ,采用计算机自动选择最佳波长的 CPA矩阵法处理所得数据 ,可以迅速而准确地给出各组分的含量 ,测量误差不超过 5 %。
