Nanometer catalysts have much greater catalytic activity and selectivity than those of traditional catalysts because of their unique crystallographic structure and surface properties, and have been developed as catalyst of the 4th generation at home and abroad. Catalytic properties of nanometer materials are introduced and application of nanometer metal cluster catalysts, nanometer oxide catalysts, supported nanometer metal cluster catalysts, semiconductor nanometer materials, carbon nan-otube and molecular sieves are reviewed.It's suggested that fundamental theory of nanometer materials science and stability of nanometer catalysts should be further studied. Importance should be attached to research on nanometer materials used as catalyst support, additives or assistants in petrochemical industry to reconstruct traditional industry.

纳米材料具有独特的晶体结构及表面特性,其催化活性和选择性大大高于传统催化剂,目前已经被国内外作为第4代催化剂进行研究和开发。介绍了纳米材料的催化特性,综述了纳米金属粒子催化剂、纳米金属氧化物催化剂、载体负载的纳米金属粒子催化剂、纳米半导体粒子、纳米碳管及分子筛的应用进展。指出今后要进一步研究纳米催化剂的基础理论和稳定性问题,重视纳米材料用作催化剂载体或助剂组分和石油化工助剂等方面的研究和应用,以用新型纳米技术改造传统产业。
