SBR is an economic and effective process used for treating brewery industrial wastewater. When COD concentration of the influent was of 1000 to 2000 mg/l, after treating COD content of effluent could meet 'The Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard GB 8978-88'. There are several advantages of SBR method, i.e, stable efficiency, simple process, low operation costs, easy operation and able to control sludge properties.
