It is generally acknowledged that geoelectricity is subsistent.It should be father studied that how geoelectricity affects stockpile and seepage of gas in coal seam and whether or not electric field can be used to speed the seepage of coal gas,thereby gas pumping rate of low pressure and low seepage coal seam.Adsorption and seepage characteristics of coal to methane under electric field have been studied.The effect of direct current electric field on adsorption characteristics of coal to methane rests with the competition of two factors which are the deep of adsorption potential well,is(increased) and coal temperature is raised by Joule heat effect.Adsorption ability of coal is increased when it is the leading factor that the deep of adsorption potential well is increased,but adsorption ability of coal is decreased when it is the leading factor that coal temperature is raised.Seepage ability of coal is increased under direct current electric field;(Adsorption) ability of coal is decreased and seepage ability of coal is increased under alternating electric field.

为了探讨地电场对包含在煤层中的瓦斯气体的储存、运移的作用以及如何利用电场来促进煤层气的渗流从而达到提高中国低压低渗煤层的煤层气抽放率等问题,研究了电场对煤瓦斯吸附渗流特性的影响.研究表明:静电场对煤瓦斯吸附特性的影响关键在于静电场的焦耳热效应使煤瓦斯系统温度升高和静电场增加煤表面吸附势阱的深度2种因素竞争的结果,当静电场增加煤表面吸附势阱深度占主导地位时,静电场使煤对瓦斯的吸附量增加,当静电场的焦耳热效应逐渐占主导地位时,静电场使煤对瓦斯的吸附量减少;外加静电场促使煤中瓦斯的渗流;交变电场作用使煤对瓦斯的吸附量减少;交变电场作用促使煤中瓦斯的渗流.
