According to the field measurements of runoff and sediment at the Datong hydrological station in the period from 1950 to 1985, a statistical approach is applied to study the seasonal and yearly variations in water and sediment fluxes to the estUary and their relationship. The result shows that: (1) an apparent seasonal variation of water and sediment fluxes exists, especially the suspended sediment flux; (2) the flood years seldom occur in succession and 75% of the dry years takes place every two years, (3) the recurrence interval of high sediment years happens once a year or 2-3 years while that of low sediment years basically every three years, (4) there is a relatively poor correlation between water and sediment fluxes. Moreover, there is almost no correlation between fine grained sediment flux and water flux.

The mechanism of long-term shoreline evolution of large-scale estuarine deltas under conditions of water and sediments flux changes (WSFC) is one of the hot topics of current global change research. In case of the Yellow River delta, the WSFCs are considered to play an important role in the evolution of delta because the river flow has been broken off for several times since the 1970s,which has changed the estuarine shoreline greatly. So it is urgent to analyze the modern the Yellow River delta and its adjacent...

The mechanism of long-term shoreline evolution of large-scale estuarine deltas under conditions of water and sediments flux changes (WSFC) is one of the hot topics of current global change research. In case of the Yellow River delta, the WSFCs are considered to play an important role in the evolution of delta because the river flow has been broken off for several times since the 1970s,which has changed the estuarine shoreline greatly. So it is urgent to analyze the modern the Yellow River delta and its adjacent area quantitatively and carry out in-depth studies on the mechanism of dynamic balance between the erosion and extension of shorelines under different water and sediment fluxes conditions in order to strengthen the theoretical basis of the delta's sustainable development. To reach that point, the mechanism of dynamic balance between erosion and accumulation under different water and sediment fluxes should be found. At present there are usually four kinds of models available to simulate the estuary shoreline formation and geomorphologic evolution of the great river deltas, which are statistic model, geometric model, depositional dynamics model and numerical model. The first two models do not describe the mechanism, and they can't be used to explain the long-term evolution of a great river delta coast; and the other two models can only compute critical values of the sediments' starting-up, transporting, and sinking processes in the very short cycle, although they can explain the mechanism in some ways. Therefore, there is still lack of mature theory on the mechanism of long-term templral (over one year) and macro spatial (the whole great river delta and its adjacent area) shoreline evolution modeling.After analyzing eroding and depositing processes carefully, we found it is necessary to conduit an in-depth study on the near-shore residual current dynamic process under conditions of the River's WSFCs, for Lagrange residual current is the key dynamic factor not only for discharging sediments long-term transportion but also for coastal and seabed's erosion and deposition. Finally the paper puts forward a tentative plan on building a macro mechanism model and offering a solution to the key problems including scaling scale, building and expressing total residual current field, and computing critical values of the sediments' resuspension, transportation and deposition.

从水沙通量变化对大河三角洲河口海岸建造及地貌演化的影响机理角度 ,通过研究目前国际上普遍采用的统计模型、几何模型、沉积动力学模型 ,以及数值模拟模型四种方法在建立大河三角洲河口海岸演化机理模型研究中的各自特点和不足 ,提出了建立宏观尺度机理模型的初步设想 ,并对运用Lagrange余流建立海岸演化机理模型所涉及的余流场的尺度转换、总余流场的建立和表达、用长期余流场构建泥沙起动、输运和沉积条件模式以及一线模型与三维动力模式耦合等关键性问题 ,提出了初步解决方案

According to the field measurements of runoff and sediment at the Datong,Yichang and Hankou stations, the multi\|method of hydrography,sediment transportation and statistical was applied to study the patterns of variations in the water and sediment fluxes, especially the discharge of water and sediment at the Yichang and Datong stations in recent fifty years. The results showed that the water discharge increased apparently from the middle reach to the lower reach, but no obvious increment at each station,the changing range didn't exceed 4% in the mean annual water discharge at Yichang Station,and only around 0 6% at Datong Station. 98 percent of the sediment in the middle and lower reaches coming from the Jinsha River and Jialing River in the upper reach was composed of the suspended sediment. The suspended sediment flux decreased gradually along the river, while the discharge of suspended sediment declined obviously at each station. In addition, the finest sand and silt made up of the suspended sediment in the middle and lower Yangtze River, and the sediment particles become finer and finer along the river.

采用水文学、泥沙运动力学与数理统计学相结合的研究方法 ,对宜昌和大通两个测站近五十年的实测水文、泥沙资料进行分析 ,以探究长江中下游水沙通量的变化规律。研究表明 ,水量由中游向下游沿程递增 ,但各测站的年均增幅不明显 ;长江中下游泥沙主要来源于长江上游地区的金沙江和嘉陵江 ,其次是汉江、洞庭湖和鄱阳湖等水系 ;长江流域来沙主要以悬移质形式下泄 ,悬沙通量由中游向下游沿程递减 ,同时各测站悬移质输沙量也逐年呈阶梯性递减趋势 ;长江中下游水沙通量有明显的季节性变化 ,洪季通量值明显高于枯季 ;悬沙颗粒主要由极细砂和粉砂组成 ,自中游向下游 ,泥沙颗粒逐渐细化 ;由于江阴河段附近边界条件的限制 ,该区域的悬沙粒径明显小于其上下游河段
