The associated particle method was used to determine the absolute neutron flux and compared with the recoil proton telescope. The agreement between both methods appeared to be within 1—2%. The resulting ~(56)Mn activity was measured by using a φ10×7.6cm NaI (Tl) scintillation...

The associated particle method was used to determine the absolute neutron flux and compared with the recoil proton telescope. The agreement between both methods appeared to be within 1—2%. The resulting ~(56)Mn activity was measured by using a φ10×7.6cm NaI (Tl) scintillation counter. The counting efficiency of the counter was achieved by means of a standard ~(56)Mn source calibrated by the 4πβ-γ coincidence method. The result measured was compared with existing data.

Isomeric cross section ratio for the ~(197)Au (n, 2n) reaction at 15 MeV is measured by the activation method. Using the Huizenga and Vandenbosch method, the isomeric ratio is calculated for the reaction. From the comparison of the measured and theoretically calculated isomeric ratio, the values of the spin cut-off factor and nuclear moment of inertia are determined.

用活化法测量了15MeV中子引起~(197)Au(n,2n)反应的同质异能素截面比。使用Huizenga-Vandenbosch描述的方法计算了该反应的同质异能截面比,根据实验值同理论值的比较,确定了产物核的自旋切割因子和核有效转动惯量的值。
