The physical characteristics of CeF3 are well suitable for detection of domestic pulse γrays. The time response of detector composed by phototube with CeF3 are measured by use of the pulse radiation source with rise time about 08 ns, and FWHM time 1.5～22 ns.
With position length of greater than 3m, sensitivity of better than 25μm, and nonlinear error of 0. 6% in linear range of±1. 5mm, this positioner can generate scanning 1aser beams using a PZTA, which are de-tected by a two-quadrant photocell, and then the aberration value of the signal is output-ed digitally after the photocurrent signal is processed by a monolithic processor.

In addition, it also has the defects that are pattern fabrication process being complex, period being long, expenses being considerable and malfunction frequency, etc.
The following are the major research work:First, both the manual and photoelectric cell counting methods are analyzed, research work related to detect technology based on the computer vision is briefly introduced, and the applications of this technology to automatic count the steel rods are summarized.
