LOTEM test survey was done in West Germany.The processed L8803 profile shows the variation of resistivity of formations under- lying an igneous body.Tests show that LOTEM is helpful to resolv- ing some special exploration problems,for example,discovering the strueture that underlies an igneous body.

长偏移距瞬变电磁法(LOTEM)的特点是发射器与接收器之间的距离大于或等于勘探深度。接地的偶极发射器向地下发射方波电流,阶跃变化的电流在地层中感生出涡流。在接收点接收并记录涡流产生的二次场。对记录的信号进行与地震数据类似的数字处理,从而得到有关地层电阻率分布的信息。在联邦德国沃格斯堡地区进行了 LOTEM 试验,由处理完成的 L8803剖面得到了被火成岩覆盖的下伏地层的电阻率变化情况。试验表明,瞬变电磁法有助于解决一些特殊勘探问题,如寻找火成岩覆盖下的构造等。

Geophysics is based on observations. It is innovations in geophysical instrumentation that enable geophysicists to look into the earth, and seek oil and minerals. The innovative instruments for subsurface imaging, which are designed by the Open Lab of Advanced Geophysical Instrumentation (OLAGI) of the Ministry of Land and Mineral Resources, are introduced mainly in this paper. 地球物理仪器是认识地球、地下资源探测与地质灾害监测的基础和关键。本文重点介绍了国土资源部现代地球物理仪器开放研究实验室近年来自主研制的新型地球物理仪器,主要包括城市物探用的PHVS系列电磁驱动可控震源及其配套的分布式地震数据采集系统,ATEM-Ⅱ型瞬变电磁探测仪和全程瞬变电磁探测仪(ATTEM),PISA-M型野外现场用的近红外光谱矿物成分分析仪等。本文给出了所研制的新型地球物理仪器的部分应用实例。
