Since the exploration works are carried out in the light different stages of mine preparation, prerequisite needs for mine preparation can be satisfied by these appropriate exploratory works. 2. The possibility of multiple utilization of the drifting workings results in less development work and lower production cost. 3. Present method can save time, and favorite the mining preparation being initiated at the right moment. Intensified ore extraction could be realized. 4. The natural solidity of the rock structure and the intrinsical stability of the ore body will not be changed or spoiled, as the exploratory work can be carried out by using of a considerable portion of the drilling holes instead of extensive tunnel and raise driving.

In this paper, the stratiform lead-zinc sulfide deposit located in the Qinling mountains, China, and lying on sequences of fine-clastics—carbonatites are named Qinling type of strata-bound lead-zinc sulfide deposit in terms of the locality where they are found. The basic geological features and genesis of them are as following:1. Ore layers of this type of deposits frequently occur in the transitional horizons from fine-clatics to carbonatites or from carbonatites to fine-clastics and their neighbourhood.2. The type of deposits were formed under miogeosynclinic environment with poor magmatism, weak volcanism and huge-thick deposit. As they were dominated by huge-deep rifts, the deposit are distributed in the form of stripes.3.The formation of the deposit took place in Late Palaeozoic Era, especially in Dovonian Period.4.The main ore formation are of silicalite type, sand-shale type and carbonatite type, the former being especially the most ordinary and characteristic.5.Ore bodies take the form of layer which are conformed to underlying and overlying rocks. Alteration of surrounding rocks is poorly developed. Primary depositional fabrics and subsequent transforming fabrics which inhabited the former exsist togather.6.The geological characteristics of ore deposit show that the formation of deposit mainly underwent deposition which brought about concentration of usefull metal elements, secondly subsequent transformation which brought about redistribution of concentrated compositions and change of ore fabrics. Therefore these deposi should belong to contemporaneous ones.7.The degree of subsequent tranformation is decided by the ore-bearing rocks and sequences which were dominated by the deposition. On the basis of this, the deposit are divided into the weakly-transformed type deposit and the strongly-transformed one.8.Concerning the genesis of this type of deposit, it is considered that the deposit were formed by precipitation of sulfide minerals from emanations of hot, metalligerous brines onto the seafloor and stransformed in varying degree after diagenesion.

Song Shujiao ore-field is the second large-sized one in Gejiu mining district. Geochemical characteristics of ore deposits and the related granite in the east part are different from that of the west part. The east part is riched in ore-forming element distributed in the inner contact, the west part, riched in elements in outer contact. Sn content of whole rock in the east part is higher than that of the west part. And Sn distribution ratio in biotite is high for the east and low for the west. Oxidation index of biotite, coefficient of K-ion in octahedron and Sn-bearing cagacity are differenl in different metallogenic section. REE distrbution mcodel in biotite in the east is similar to their of stocks with best mineralization, the model in the west, similar to that of the stocks with poorest mineralization. REE distrabuttion model in biotite in the east is similar to that of stocks with best mineralization, the model in the west, similar to that of the stocks With poorest mineralization. REE distrabution model in cassiterite for both of the east and west part is coincided with that of the stocks. But REE of cassterite in the west part is higher than that of the east. Eu depletion of cassiterite in the east part is stronger than that of the west part, LREE/HREE, low for the east part and high for the west part. The cassiterite in the east part is riehed in Y relative to the west (?)art. In addition to th(?)e mentioned above, crystal-cell coefficient of cassiterite, some element values in newboldits and pyrite reveal that ore-forming temperature is high for the east part which is infered as the center of metallogeny. Based on the geochemical information some sectors in the west part, which are similar in geochemistry to the east part are recognized. With 21 items of geochemistry standerds assessment of metallogeny was made for different sectors in the west part. Good results have been obtained by he engineering of exploration.

通过对个旧锡矿松树脚矿田不同成矿部位的岩体和矿床的地球化学特征研究,以已知主要矿体分布地段为对比标准,用七类21项地球化学指标对与主要矿体分布地段毗连的普查区作出了成矿地球化学条件评价,这一评价为近来的工程揭露初步证实,并取得了较好的找矿效果。
