On ocean engineering designing,it is advisable to determine the probabil- ities of design wave by wave steepness,at the same time,taking into account the influence of the wave height and period on offshore structures.In this paper,based on the acturally measured wave data at a certain port,the chara- cteristics of wave steepness was discussed in view of referring to the wave height and period which follow a given distribution law,as presuposition.We made the use of the relations of the wave steepness with the wave height and wave period respectively as well as the network diagram reguarding the wave height and period and wave-steepness as parameters in order to reflect the characteristics of wave steepness under the extreme and normal states,and also obtain the conversion relations among various characteristic steepness.These analyses will no doubt give some useful references for ocean engineering desig- ning and coastal development.

海浪的波陡能同时描述海浪的波高和波长的分布,故已成为合理计算海上建筑物作用力的可靠依据。本文在介绍波陡在实际中应用的同时,结合海洋开发(石油开发、波能开发)的需要提出将波陡换算成波高和波周期的函数,然后连同从天气图后报的海浪资料以及海浪的短期分布资料一起描绘出以波高、周期和波陡为参量的网络图,并确定了波陡在工程上选取的范围。本文还求取了各种特征波陡之间的换算关系,对波陡的某些特性进行了初步分析,阐明了波陡与波高、波周期之间的关系.

In order to study the deep structure in West China, a profile of deep seismic sounding (DSS) has been made by the State Seismologieal Bureau (SSB). This profile starts from Menyuan (门源) at its west end and to Weinan (渭南) at its east end. Total length is about 970 km.On the profile are 7 shooting points, constituting a continuous profiling of forward and reverse shooting. In order to study the deep structure in West China, a profile of deep seismic sounding (DSS) has been made by the State Seismologieal Bureau (SSB). This profile starts from Menyuan (门源) at its west end and to Weinan (渭南) at its east end. Total length is about 970 km.On the profile are 7 shooting points, constituting a continuous profiling of forward and reverse shooting. Based on kinematic and dynamic characteristics of waves, we can recognize a head wave from crystalling basement and three reflected waves from M-discontinuty and others. We have used several methods of interpretation, such as inversion by travel times, ray tracing and synthetic seismograms. We can divided the crust into four layers with the following structure parameters:H1= 03.32±1.01 km, V1 = 4.35±0.79 km/sec;H2 = 11.79±2.77 km, V2 = 6.06±0.24km/sec;H3 = 11.58±4.32 km, V3 = 6.35±0.26 km/sec;H4 = 17.64±7.25 km, V4 = 6.52±0.57 km/sec.The average thickness of the crust is 45.60±11.01 km.The results indicated that the crust in this region is laterally inhomogeous. The relieves of M-boundaries of the, west part of the profile are comparatively small, while those of the middle and east parts are larger. They seem to show a U-shaped structure which is wider in the upper part, and this is favouable to explain the geological tectonics and earthquake generation in this region.

本文所处理的地震测深剖面资料,是一条途经陕、甘、宁、青四省,由7个炮点和12个记录分支组成的、全长约970km的地壳折射资料。 本文通过走时反演、射线追踪和合成地震图等分析解释手段,给出各分支的结构参数和全测线的横向变化。整个地壳大体分四层,其参数为 H_1=3.32±1.01 km,V_1=4.35±0.79 km; H_2=11.79±2.77 km,V_2=6.06±0.24 km; H_3=11.58±4.32 km,V_3=6.35±0.26 km; H_4=17.64±7.25 km,V_4=6.52±0.57 km. 地壳总厚度为45.60±11.01km.莫氏面自西向东逐渐变浅,在西段较为平缓,在中段和东段起伏较大,似乎显示出一个上端略宽、下端略窄的“U”形构造.这种构造有助于说明该区的大地构造特点和地震孕育的深部条件.

The method of multilayer recursion is a new numerical forecast me-thod using the theoretics of system identification in modern cybernetics.The harmonic analysis can reveal the characteristics of wave motion invarious scales at different latitudes.In this paper,we have used the com-bination method to forecast medium-range heavy rain in Mei-yu period.The results show that the multilayer recursion forecast model with increa-sing memory is the best one.

多层递阶方法是运用现代控制论中系统辨识观点提出的一种新的数值预报方法;谐谱分析便于揭示不同纬圈上不同尺度的波动特征。本文应用其结合方案对梅雨期大-暴雨中期过程进行试验。比较分析表明,以增长记忆的多层递阶预报模型效果最佳。经试报及业务使用该方案效果较好。
