With a single growth ring of wood, small laminate specimens were made and tensite strength was tested in order to understand wood quality variations in different growth seasons. Meanwhile, tracheid length, fibril dip angle, wood density and growth ring width were measured. The resuets showed that small tensile strength is related to these properties.
