In this paper,the2onstituent of the electric power assisted steering (EPAS) system and its operational mechanism are introduced,the features of electric power assisted steering system itself and the key factors affecting its performance are analyzed,then the system control requirement is discussed shortly.Finally from the view points of vehicle speed,steering torque and the limitation of the PID control etc.,the feasibility applying fuzzy control on EPAS system and the comparative advantages are analyzed in detail,on the base of which a primary fuzzy model of EPAS system is presented.

介绍电动助力转向(ElectricPowerAssistedSteering,EPAS)系统的工作机理及其系统组成,简要分析电动助力转向系统的自身特点和影响系统性能的关键因素,阐明系统的控制要求,并从车速、转向扭矩以及PID控制的局限性等角度详细分析采用模糊控制的可行性与相对优势,在此基础上提出电动助力转向系统模糊控制的初步模型。
