Buildings detection is an important research in the area of computer vision and digital photogrammetry.A new approach of buildings detection based on deformable templates is presented in this paper.This method is based on the synergy of different information to address the problem of buildings detection from a complex aerial image.The problem of building localization and identification is treated as a process of matching a deformable template to the building boundary in the aerial image that inputs to the system.The features of the buildings such as image intensity,image gradient and geometric constraints etc.are described by energy terms.The weighted sum of each energy term is the total energy of the deformable template.Prior knowledge of a building shape is described by a parameter vector that consists of a set of parameters.The prior geometric information is obtained from seeds.The operator of the system specifies the seeds by activating the mouse.The image intensity information and image gradient information are obtained from the input aerial image by pre processing.Simulated annealing is used in the optimizing process.The optimizing parameter vector can give the geometric and semantic information of the target in image experimental results are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of this approach.

With the purpose of filling in the blank area where the traditional EM methods and the ground penetrating radar (GPR) can not be applied effectively, frequency domain electromagnetic (FEM) instruments make use of frequency bands, in which the diffusion and displacement currents cannot be ignored, and the bit stream transmit technique. Time domain electromagnetic (TEM) instruments are shifted to the very early time of the off time electromagnetic responses. The detection resolution and efficiency can be improved by the new EM instruments. The electromagnetic integrated demonstration (EMID) at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory Cold Test Pit in USA shows the present status and development trend of the modern EM instrumentation.

In quality detection of buildings, fissures have been found in buildings on repeated occasions caused by foreign matters like periclase mingled with cearsegrained aggregate in cast-in-place concrete. This article intends to give the readers a characteristic description of the fissures occurred to buildings through five similar building detection items, and an analysis is made of the causes for such fissures with an intention for some effective methods to solve the problems.

目前在房屋质量检测中 ,多次发现由于现浇砼粗骨料中混有方镁石等有害杂质引发房屋裂缝问题。本文通过调查了 5个类似的房屋检测项目 ,进行综合分析 ,并提出解决建议。
