In this article,the possibility of production of high chromium cast iron troostite grinding ball has been inquired with the use of domestic unique raw material of V-Ti pig iron,and the influences of Cr/C ratio and Si on the microstrueture and properties of high chromium cast iron containing V and Ti have been also studied.The effects of XMX inoculant have been tried to find out,and the technology in the production of metallic ball has been tested.The results of research indicated that in using smell amount of V and Ti to substitute for expensive Mo and Cu to produce high chromium cast iron grinding ball,its wearability can be improved,and its cost of production can be decreased.The ball wear ratio ranges from 33.9 to 38 grams/ton cement and the breaking ratio is less than 0.18%.It has no skin- ning,no deformation and the wearing uniformity is good.The Cr/C ratio and Si must be controlled strictly to produce Cr-V-Ti troostite grinding ball.Using XMX inoculant for the preconditioning of the furnace,the comprehensive mechanical properties of Cr-V-Ti cast iron can be increased, especially for the shock tonghness.

The breaking strength of a PET filament in single fiber drawing is higher than that in multifil drawing, because the fibers are not broken at the same time in the latter. The paper studied difference of mechanical properties between single fiber drawing and multifil drawing of PET filament. The breaking strength of a PET filament in single fiber drawing is higher than that in multifil drawing, because the fibers are not broken at the same time in the latter. A new concept - calculating breaking strength of multifil - has been advanced in the paper. Using the concept, we can get breaking strength of single fiber by multifil drawing. The two breaking ratio-elongation distributions are different, but their averages are similar. The two initial moduli are the same, because they are all measured in small deformation.
