Molybdenum surface alloying layer was prepared on Ti6Al4V substrate using double glow discharge technique. The tribological behavior of the resulting surfacemodified layer under dry and oillubricated sliding against SAE52100 steel was evaluated on a ballondisc test rig. Molybdenum surface alloying layer was prepared on Ti6Al4V substrate using double glow discharge technique. The tribological behavior of the resulting surfacemodified layer under dry and oillubricated sliding against SAE52100 steel was evaluated on a ballondisc test rig. The results showed that the surfacemodified alloying layer was composed of Modeposited layer of 10 μm thick and Modefused layer of 15 μm thick. The hardness and elastic modulus of the surfacemodified layer were 10.859 GPa and 278.839 GPa, which were much larger than that of the Ti6Al4V substrate. The Ti6Al4V substrate was characterized by adhesion wear and scuffing under dry and lubricated sliding against the steel, while the surfacemodified layer experienced much abated adhesion wear and scuffing under the same testing conditions. This could be attributed to the different hardness and elastic modulus, and the different microstructures of the Ti6Al4V substrate and its modified counterpart. The surfacemodified layer showed poor frictionreducing and fair antiwear ability in dry sliding against the steel, while it had much better frictionreducing and antiwear ability in oillubricated sliding against the steel.

利用双层辉光离子渗金属技术在Ti6Al4V合金表面渗Mo,用球-盘磨损试验机对试样的摩擦性能进行了研究.结果表明:Ti6Al4V合金表面渗Mo可以形成均匀的表面改性合金层,合金层由沉积层和扩散层构成;合金层的硬度和弹性模量分别为10.86GPa和278.84GPa,较Ti6Al4V有较大提高;渗Mo后的试样在干摩擦小滑动距离下表现出一定的减摩作用,耐磨性明显增强;在油润滑条件下,渗Mo改性层具有优异的减摩和耐磨性能.

Surface alloying layer of molybdenum on Ti6Al4V base was formed by double glow discharge technique. The influence of Ti6Al4V base temperature on the properties of molybdenum alloying layer at 910990 ℃ was studied. The results show that the molybdenum alloying layer is composed of deposit layer and diffuse layer. The thickness of diffuse layer and the surface roughness of molybdenum alloying layer increase with increasing the Ti6Al4V base temperature. The microhardness value of molybdenum alloying layer is much larger than that of Ti6Al4V base. The change of Ti6Al4V base temperature has little influence on the hardness of molybdenum alloying layer. The bonding strength between the molybdenum deposit and diffuse layer was studied with the indentation test. The result shows that it increases with increasing the Ti6Al4V base temperature.

利用双层辉光离子渗金属技术在Ti6Al4V表面渗Mo,形成了表面改性合金层,就910~990℃渗Mo时基体温度对表面合金层性能的影响进行了研究。结果表明,渗Mo后的表面合金层由扩散层和沉积层组成,沉积层呈(211)晶面的择优取向。随着基体温度的升高,扩散层的厚度增加,并且合金层表面粗糙度增大。渗Mo后的表面合金层硬度较基体Ti6Al4V的大大提高,而基体温度变化对合金层硬度没有明显影响。用涂层压入仪对沉积层和扩散层间的结合强度进行了评定。研究表明,随着基体温度的升高,临界压入载荷pc增大,沉积层和扩散层间的结合强度增大。
