In the paper,the inherent frequencies and vibration modes of the telescopic booms of TR1000 rock drilling jumbos are calculated by means of the modal analysis function of the finite element analysis program of ANSYS9.0 and comparison is made between the FEM calculation results and the modal testing analysis results.

The numerical simulation of time domain with MATLAB/SIMULINK software verifies the correctness of the analysis results using the frequency domain theory.

According to the tested Carboniferous formation pressures in wells Z-1 and Z-2 and the gas and water laboratory analysis results, the relevant gas column and water column equations are set up in the paper and, through solving the simultaneous equations, it is derived that the gas-water interface of the Carboniferous gas reservoir is at an elevation of-3506.3 metres.
