This paper deals with some of the ultrastructural features which have notbeen previously reported concerning the stages of life cycle of Nosema pyraus-ta of the European born borer,Pyrausta nubilalis.These features includethe schizont in the midgut,meront in the Malpighian tubes,sporont andsporoblast in the muscles and mature spores in various other tissues.Finally,the dispersion,schizogony,sporulation,specificity and systematies of theparasite were briefly discussed.
