In this paper, some common mistakes in students, (students') compositions are analysed, with statistics presented. The results show that the cause underlying the problem is their linguistic incompetence. It is suggested that more attention be paid to grammar teaching. Some effective ways to improve linguistic competence are also proposed.

本文分析并统计了学生英语作文中的一些常见错误。从结果中可看到,学生的语言能力差是产生错误的主要原因,因此,我们必须重视语法教学。文中也提出了一些提高书面表达能力的设想。
