In 1977~1986, an investigation of the faunae of natural enemies of cotton pests in Hunan was conducted by the authors. The collection contains 109 species of natural enemies of cotton pests from 25 families of 5 orders and the catalogue, host-range, distribution and habitus of 109 species are given in this paper. 50 species of them were recorded as parasites of cotton pest, and 59 species were recorded as important predators in cotton fields.

1987—1989年,在河南省新乡棉区研究了叶色草蛉自然种群动态及其对棉铃虫的捕食效应。叶色草蛉在新乡棉区一年可发生4—5个世代,与棉铃虫卵至一龄幼虫期跟随效应较好,是当地捕食性天敌中的优势种。叶色草蛉整个幼虫期平均可捕食棉铃虫一龄幼虫488.1头,日捕食量随龄期增大而上升。温度对其捕食效应有影响,30℃时捕食量最大,15℃以下、35℃以上捕食量显著下降。叶色草蛉对棉铃虫一龄幼虫的功能反应属 Holling Ⅱ型反应,6日龄草蛉幼虫对其自身密度的功能反应可用 Watt 模型拟合,其捕食作用率与个体间相互干扰作用的关系呈幂函数下降,可以 Hassell 模型模拟。食性选择性试验表明:叶色草蛉最喜食棉铃虫一龄幼虫,其次为棉蚜,再次为棉铃虫卵,对棉叶螨的选择性最差。在棉铃虫一龄幼虫与棉蚜间存在转换效应。

Field trials of controlling aphids on cotton with two insecticidal preparations, EB 82 (a preparation from Entomophthora sp. 1∶200) and Tianli II (a preparation from alkaloids 1∶2000), were conducted in southern Xinjiang. The control efficacy of EB 82 on Aphis gossypii Glover was 90.67% and 85.94% on 2nd and 8th d after application while that of Tianli II was 86.28% and 97.65%. The control efficacy on Acyrthosiphon gossypii Mordviko was both 100% on 2nd and 8th d with EB 82, while 96.88%...

用EB-82灭蚜菌200倍液和天力Ⅱ号2000倍液喷雾防治棉田蚜虫,喷后2、8天对棉蚜的防效分别为90.67%、85.94%和86.28%、97.65%;对棉长管蚜的防效均在96%以上。EB-82灭蚜菌对棉田常见捕食性天敌无伤害作用,天力Ⅱ号喷后天敌数量略有下降,喷氧化乐果的棉株上天敌全部死亡。
