It was proved that with an increase in the number of functionality present in the resin, the degree of cross linking was increased. As a consequence, the cured resin showed higher glass transition temperature and smaller deformation in high elastic state. Their high temperature performance was thus better than similar system based on the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A resin.

A pronounced dispersion rigion is noted near 150℃ (which varies with the degree of cure), and is accompained by a prominent drop in Young's modulus in this region. The loss peak is due to the glass transition in the epoxy resin network, since above this temperature the specimens exhibit a rubberlike behaviour. Results presented here agree well with those of other investigators. However, the glass transition temperature determined by internal friction peak is much higher than that determined from the thermo-mechanical curves by Kargin et al., this difference suggests that the external force applied during a thermo-mechanical curve determination may produce certain mechano-chemical effects in the epoxy resin network.Experimental data obtained on the relation between the degree of crosslinking and the glass transition temperature are given and discussed.

The heat capacity of Nb3Sn has been measured between 16.0°K and 20.3°K. A jump in specific heat at Te is found with ΔC = 2.21 (±5%) joule/mole· deg. The transition temperature of the sample is Tc = 17.88°K, and the transition interval is ΔTC ≈ 0.2°K. From the measured ΔC and by using the thermodynamic relationship, the thermodynamic critical magnetic field at 0°K, H0≈5300 Oe, was obtained.
