The article points out that the Ordovician System-Limestone formation of Xianyu syncline situated in the Western Hills of Beijing is an independent reservoir and transporting structure of ground-water embedded about one thousand meter below.The west end of this structure goes upward and intersected by the Yongdin River, so it may get the alimentation from the river to the volume about 10m3/sec.At the both wings of its northeast end the karst water runs out of the ground as springs, such as Yuquanshan fountain,...

The article points out that the Ordovician System-Limestone formation of Xianyu syncline situated in the Western Hills of Beijing is an independent reservoir and transporting structure of ground-water embedded about one thousand meter below.The west end of this structure goes upward and intersected by the Yongdin River, so it may get the alimentation from the river to the volume about 10m3/sec.At the both wings of its northeast end the karst water runs out of the ground as springs, such as Yuquanshan fountain, Heilongtan fountain,Baijiatong fountain and Wenquan fountain. In certain places of the structure, the pressureized karst water leaks out through tertiary formation and supplies the alluvial fan of the Yongdin River. The southeast wing of the structure is overlapped by the reversed fault of Babaoshan and then intersected by the ordinary fault of Toli-wali. As a sequence, the karst water takes part in the circulation of the deeply embedded thermo-water in Sinian System.Adequate understanding of this structure is not only an important bases of correct evaluating the resource of ground water in Beijing but also a positive role in improving the deteriorating state of ground-water and in developing the thermo-water resource in Beijing provided supply of frow from the Yongdin River is ensured.

本文提出北京西山香峪向斜的奥陶系灰岩层是一个深埋地下千米的独立的储水和输水构造.构造西端翘起,被永定河切割,接受河水的渗漏量达10立米/秒,构造东北端的两翼,岩溶水出露成泉,如玉泉山泉、黑龙潭泉、白家疃泉、温泉等,在个别地段,承压岩溶水透过第三系地层补给永定河冲积扇.其东南翼被八宝山逆掩断层超复后又被坨里~洼里正断层所切,造成岩溶水参与深部震旦系地层热水循环. 正确认识这个输水构造,不仅是正确评价北京市地下水资源的一个重要条件,而且如果这个构造有永定河水补给的保证,则对日益恶化的北京市地下水现状的改善和北京市热水资源的增加,都将起到积极的作用.

An Early Carboniferous continental-coal-bearing stratigraphy and a Middle Carboniferous Molasse Formation with huge thickness were discovered in the north border of Qinglin-Huaiyang Shield;many marine bivalves fossils from the Shanxi Formation were described by Zhang;the Shiqianfeng Formation might wholly belong to the Lower Triassic in age; the age of Shuangquan Formation in the Western Hills of Beijing was confirmed as the Late Permian through a large number of fossil plant study; sufficient evidences showed that the Shanxi Formation and the Lower and Upper Shihezi Formations are far from being pure continental deposits as formerly held, but were formed under the paralic plain enviroment.

解放以来,华北地台晚古生代地层的研究取得了许多新的重大进展:秦岭——淮阳地盾北缘发现了一个早石炭世的陆相含煤地层和一套巨厚的属于中石炭世的磨拉石建造;山西组中发现了许多晚石炭世型的双壳类化石;石千峰组的时代可能全部都有属于早三叠世的可能;根据大量植物化石,北京西山的双泉组的年代肯定是晚二叠世;许多新材料提供的证据都说明山西组和上、下石盒子组均远非以前认为的那样是纯大陆相沉积,而是在滨海平原环境中形成的。
