The flame from the burner is well in rigidity and luminosity. Its temperature is 40 to 100℃. higher than that with selective oxygen enrichment combustion. Using this burner, fuel consumption may be reduced and operating rate and output of the open-hearth increaed. The tip of the burner is made of copper and cooled with water, so that it makes the burner reliable and more durable. To reduce combustion noise of the long-flame oxy-oil burner, some effective measures were taken to stabilize the combustion process at the burner exit. Thereby the noise level of the burner is reduced to that of conventional oil burner.

Injection of coal with low ash content is beneficial to increasing the economic effect of blast furnace injection. For majority of iron and steel works in north China, the author suggests using Datong bituminous coal or Rujigou authracite coal for blast furnace injection. For majority of iron and steel works in north China, the author suggests using Datong bituminous coal or Rujigou authracite coal for blast furnace injection. The price ratio between coal powder and coke is not the same in different steel works, therefore the upper limit of coal quantity injected should also be different from each other. Under China's usual melting conditions of blast furnace, the quantity limit of coal injection is about 90-130 kg/tHM. In some districts with oxygen generation of low cost, it is advisable to adopt oxygen enrichment of blast.

For an MHD-Steam pilot plant of 10 MW using Huainan coal as fuel by changing oxygen enrichment, oxidant preheating temperature, Math number at the channel entrance, velocity profile (constant Math number, constant velocity or re ducive velocity), load coefficient and magnetic field, more than 130 various projects were calculated on a TQ-16 computer. On the bases of the calculated results the effects of some tactors on the overall thermal effieieney were diseussed.

本文提出了独立加热、再生加热和混合加热三种基本磁流体—蒸汽联合循环热力系统的热效率公式;建立了计及摩擦、传热和电极边界层电压降损失的法拉第发电通道一维流动模型;通过改变氧化剂的组成、预热方式和预热温度以及发电通道流动条件(不同的通道入口马赫数及等速、成速、等马赫数三种流动情况)、负载系数、磁感应强度等,在TQ-16计算机上进行了130多种以淮南煤为燃料的万千瓦级磁流体—蒸汽联合循环中试电站方案的实例计算;最后,根据计算结果,分析了某些因素对联合电站热效率的影响。
