The new 226 accessions of valuable germplasm have been obtained. Some of them are rare germplasm resources which have mutants of high lysine, high ratio of oleic/linoleic and high salt tolerance. These mutants are valuable in the genetic field. Through mutation breeding the extremely early-maturation variety "Luhua 6" and high yield variety "Pi2" with stronger peg have been developed. At present they are being planted in the large area of China.

    The seedlings of 3 genera, 15 species and 91 varieties of citrus fruits -were treated with 100, 50, 25, 0 mM NaCl solutions for 70 days. The effect of different salinity on various citrus species and varieties was studied.The result shows that the Trifoliate orange ( P.trifoliata ) , Ichange papeda ( C .ichangensis ) , Xiangcheng ( C .junos ) , Citron ( C ,me-dica ) , Lemon ( C.limon ), and Citrange ( P.trifoliata × C .sinensis ) etc. are sensitive while the sour orange ( C.aurantium ) and the sweet orange (...

    研究了不同浓度的盐处理对各柑桔种类、品种的影响,明确了枳(Poncirus trifoliataRaf.)、宜昌橙(Citrus ichangensis Swingle)、香橙(C.junos(Sieb)Tanaka)、枸椽(C.medica L.)、柠檬(C.limon(L)Burm.f.)、枳橙(P.trifol.x C.sinen.)等种类不耐盐;酸橙(C.aurantium L.)、甜橙(C.sinensis Osb.)比较耐盐;宽皮柑桔(C.reticulata Blanco)的耐盐性则有广泛的分离现象。鉴定结果,朱桔类(C.erythrosa Hort.ex Tanaka)的安江红桔、迟红、草桔、朱红桔等品种及酸橙类的蚌柑、意大利酸橙、摩洛哥酸橙和红皮山桔、年桔(C.reticulata Blanco)等有较高的耐盐性。为耐盐砧木的筛选提供了依据。
