The simplified Coal characteristic Coefficient β' = 2.35, as proposed in author's two previous papers to ho used with Vr for coal classification, has been for the first time repeatedly proved as shown in many graphs (Fig. 2-Fig 9) to represent (a) the foundamental characteristics of coal, like caking property, heating value, plastic layer thickness. etc. (b) the quality of the side Chain of the coal crystal (c) the percentage proportion of vitrain composition with respect to the other constitutents in petrographic components, during the different stages of coalification. (2) The simplified coal characteristic coefficient β' can be used to substitute the free swelling index, Roga number L.R. and the plastic layer thickness y etc in the coal classification of type together with the volatile matter on combustible basis VP for the coal classification of rank. (graph 10-graph 16) (3) Besides the VP and β' coal classification system,(Fig - 18), Carbon content on combustible basis CP with the free hydrogen H°= (HP=)for coal classification (Fig-23), VP vervus classification (Fig.-24), VP versus H°(Fig. -25) and VP versus (Fig-26) coal classification are also proposed. Comparisons of the different systems are made with the conclusion of adopting VP versus β' as the most logical system. (4) In the VP versus β' graph; the plastic layer thickness y curves (Fig.-27) represent the the rate of vitrinification during the different stages of coalification due to the different constituents of principal peat-forming plant substances. So a new international three-parameter coal classification system is proposed with the volatile matter on combustible basis VP as the first parameter and the simplified coal characteristic coefficient β' as the second principal parameter with the thickness of plastic layer y in mm as the third parameter. (Fig-28)

(1)简化特性系数β’=2.35代表着煤的分子结构中侧链的本质,而纯燃质挥发分 VP代表着煤的原始物质中侧链与核心部分的相对数量. (2)简化特性系β',即自由氢碳比率函数,是煤岩成分比例不同的标志;角质类和不透明质与透明基质数量的相对比例的标志;是镜煤质与非镜煤质含量相对数值比例的标志,亦即是镜煤化程度的标志。 (3)简化特性系β'反映了煤的特性,焦油产率,炼焦性质,胶层厚度,发热量及碳含量,氢含量,氧含量等,并有充分的证明。 (4)简化特性系β’揭露了近百年来国际间对於煤的特性的秘密,而是国际上有最完善的理论根据的分类指标。 (5)因此,作者建议(a)用VP及β’来作为中国煤工艺技术分类指标(6)用VP,β'与y作为国际煤分类指标,其中 厚度y,根据作者的见解,代表着煤在碳化过程中,凝 化的速度的标志。

Experiments on the metabolism of nucleic acids have shown that N- formyl-sarcolysin(N-F)may reduce the content of DNA both in normal animal tissues and in transplantable tumors.In view of these findings,the effect of N-F upon p~(32) incorporation into nucleic acids was investigated,and this was compared with the effect of sarcolysin. Mice and rats were used in the experiments.Fifteen μc of P~(32) in the form of Na_2HP~(32)O_4 solution were injected intraperitoneally into the animals 24 hours after the last dose of N-F.The animals were sacrificed 5—6 hours after the isotope injection, RNA and DNA were isolated by the procedure described in our previous paper.Sam- ples were plated and their radioactivities were counted,and the results obtained were expressed according to the method of Davidson and Freeman. The results indicate that N-F(80mg/kg)and sarcolysin(10mg/kg)administered once daily for 4 consecutive days inhibited markedly the incorporation of P~(32) into RNA and DNA of the spleens in normal rats and in mice bearing Ehrlich ascites car- cinoma.A marked depression of P~(32) incorporation into DNA of Yoshida ascites sar- coma was also noted when N-F was administered orally at 50 or 160 mg/kg,and sarco- lysin at 5 or 20mg/kg respectively for 2 consecutive days.However,these two drugs failed to produce any significant depression of P~(32) incorporation into RNA.It is very interesting that N-F produced marked depression of P~(32) incorporation into both RNA and DNA of Yoshida solid tumors with three doses of 160 mg/kg,while with a single dose of 160 mg/kg only depression of incorporation into DNA was observed.N-F had no effect upon P~(32) incorporation into the RNA and DNA in mice bearing Ehrlich solid tumors at daily doses of 50 or 100 mg/kg for 7—9 days,as well as in mice bearing reticulo-sarcoma L_2 at daily doses of 50 or 80 mg/kg.However,under the same con- ditions N-F and sarcolysin inhibited markedly the incorporation of P~(32) into DNA of the Ehrlich ascites cells.It thus appears that N-F and sarcolysin exert a similar pattern of influence upon nucleic acid metabolism.

本文报告 N-甲对 P~(32)参入正常及肿瘤组织(或细胞)中核酸的影响。N-甲在治疗剂量下对 P~(32)参入大鼠吉田肉瘤(腹水及实体型)及小鼠艾氏癌腹水型的肿瘤细胞(或组织)核酸有明显抑制作用,且以对参入 DNA 的影响最强。N-甲对 P~(32)参入小鼠艾氏癌实体型肿瘤组织核酸无影响;在小剂量下对 P~(32)参入小鼠网织细胞肉瘤组织核酸亦无明显影响。N-甲对 P~(32)参入正常及肿瘤动物脾脏核酸有明显抑制作用。N-甲与溶肉瘤素对 P~(32)参入正常及肿瘤组织核酸的影响类似,但在等毒性剂量下其作用较溶肉瘤素稍弱。

A slightly modified method of starch gel electrophoresis was used to determine the Hp type of 104 serum samples from a Chinese population. The frequeney of the Hp~1 gene calculated according to Hardy-Weinberg's formula is 0.30, which agrees well with the data reported in the literature.

对Smithies氏原来的淀粉胶电泳作了一些改动,以适应一般实验室条件。本文详细报导了操作过程,并分析了104个健康人的Hp型。计算出的Hp~1频度为0.30此值与文献上的记载甚为接近。
