This article,based on features of Nb -bearing steel and considering the production practice of Plate-rolling Plant of Wuyang Steel, optimizes reheating.rolling and heat treatment processes.resulting in the production of 14MnNbq Plate which conforms to requirements of technical specification both in me-chanical properties and surface quality,the plate has been used in the Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge which has the longest span now in our country.

本文依据含铌钢的特性,结合舞钢轧钢厂的生产实际,对加热、轧制、热处理工艺进行优化,生产出机械性能、表面质量均达到技术条件要求的14MnNbq钢板,现已用于目前我国跨度最大的芜湖长江大桥。

In this paper, it is put forward to choose main modes based on their properties and their contributing ratios, then the control for reducing seismic response is proceeded in the subspace of main modes by LQR technology. The simulating control analysis is made for the building cable stayed bridge, which is located on the main channel of Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge, in the possible simulating precision and the scope of control force, and it is shown that this technology is feasible and effective.

The significance of the toughness/strength ratio for the design of anti-brittle failure is diseased on the basis of the constructive experience in the construction of Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge. It is pointed out that the limit of a super-strength value in a weld lacks .evidence, thus the upper limit of a weld strength may ie controlled by the toughness/strength ratio.
