The effect of 0.45%~1.44% Cu on low temperature tensile strain-induced martensite transformation in 304 stainless steel- 0.068~0.072C, 18.72~19.06Cr, 9.40~9.46Ni at -196 ℃ has been studied by X-ray diffraction analysis.
The results show the cavitation erosion resistances of the 2 stress-induced marten-site Fe-Mn-Si-Cr shape memory alloys are much better than those of the 3 strain-induced martensite austenitic stainless steels and OCr13Ni5Mo stainless steel.
The fatigue life of self-fluxing laser cladding coatings(7.21×106) was 15 % longer than that of carburized layer(6.29×106) under conditions of 2170 MPa contact stress, 12.5 % sliding difference and lubrication with 20# machinery lubricating oil, it was due to the effect of strain-induced martensite formed under contact stress.
