A controversial and heated disputes on the effectiveness of acupuncture for the deaf and dumb have continued for a long time. Someone reported that the effectivness is up to 83.8%, others reportd that the acupuncture therapy is absolutely non-effective. The present study is trying to give an objective evaluation on the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy for the deaf and dumb. Twenty students with remnant hearing were selected at random from a school for the deaf-mutes. They received acupuncture therapy. The threshold of inducing electric potential (IEP) of auditory area in cerebro-cortex (AACC) was taken as an objective index for determina ting the change of hearing function. And ten decibel(db) over the average of three frequencies, 250, 500 and 1,000 cycle/sec, were considered to be the standard of effectiveness of acupuncture therapy. After two months course of acupuncture therapy, two ears of two eases were raised over 10db, which was about 5% of the 40 treated ears. IEP of AACC of 21 ears had raised over 10 decibel after treatment if it was estimated by only one frequency. The defect of past studies was short of an objective index for evaluating the improvement of hearing ability after treatment. At this study that the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy for deafness and dumbness with remnant hearing may raise hearing ability only 5%, of course it is a minor improvement. But it should not be considered adsolutely noneffective, therefore it is not adequate to exaggerate and popularization,

解放后,我国先后出现三次针治聋哑高潮,针刺对聋哑人恢复听力是否有作用?长期以来有争议。为此,我们选20名有残余听力的聋哑学生为实验对象,以皮层听区声诱发电位的阈值做为观察听力变化的客观指标,以250、500、1000周/秒三个频率的平均值提高10dB以上为有效,进行针刺治疗观察。两个月后上述三个频率的平均值提高10d B以上的有两人的两只耳,单项频率提高10d B以上的有21耳。即针刺对部分有残余听力的聋哑人可提高听力10d B以上,但比例只有5%,听力提高的幅度也有限。因此,把针刺做为治疗聋哑的有效方法加以宣扬和推广是不适宜的,但本文也不同意针刺对聋哑人听力百分之百无作用的意见。

In this paper we report the results of spectroscopic intensity parameters of Er3+ in YAG:Er3+ single crystals. This paper presents the results of correlation analysis between the data of energetic particle pulses obtained by IMP-J spacecraft (P4: 230keV>.E>160keV) and auroral electrojet index AE. The magnetotail is devided into three regions: neutral sheet region, low latitude region and high latitude region. It is found that: (1) In the neutral sheet region, the average energetic particle fluxes is the highest among all three regions. In the high latitude region the fluxes is the lowest. This paper presents the results of correlation analysis between the data of energetic particle pulses obtained by IMP-J spacecraft (P4: 230keV>.E>160keV) and auroral electrojet index AE. The magnetotail is devided into three regions: neutral sheet region, low latitude region and high latitude region. It is found that: (1) In the neutral sheet region, the average energetic particle fluxes is the highest among all three regions. In the high latitude region the fluxes is the lowest. This indicates that the "source" of energetic particle pulses may be located in the neatral sheet region. (2) The correlation between energetic particle pulses and AE index is most significant in the neutral sheet region, the correlation coefficient R is 0.59. In low and high latitude region, R decreases sharply. It coincide with the idea that energetic particle pulses event is substorm relevant event, the particles are accelerated by induced electric field caused by magnetic field line reconnection near the neutral sheet region. (3) Accelerated area is limited to a thin layer around neutral sheet, it coincides with Hones results.

利用行星际监察卫星IMP-J取得的高能粒子探测数据(质子能档P4:230 keV>E>160keV)与极光电激流指数AE作相关分析,在地心太阳磁层坐标下,按照Fairfield关于中性片对地心太阳磁层“赤道面”的偏离模式,把磁尾分成三个区域:中性片区域、低纬区域和高纬区域.结果表明:(1)高能粒子脉冲的平均强度在中性片区域最强,低纬次之,高纬最弱,表明高能粒子脉冲源区在中性片区域;(2)中性片附近,粒子脉冲和AE指数相关最好,达0.59,低纬次之,高纬几乎无相关,表明粒子脉冲与亚暴事件有关,它是磁尾中性片附近磁力线重联产生的感应电场加速的结果;(3)粒子加速区局限于中性片附近的薄层内,与国外结果完全一致.
