The axiomatic method is useful as scientific method for 1) the deduction of a conclusion from known mathematical knowledges and its expression and 2) the establishment and advancement of new theories in mathematics. Furthermore, it 3) reveals the specific features of mathematics and 4) serves as an important methodology in the study of mathematics and other natural sciences as well.
