But some ship officers go so far as to deny the use of any other method of computing altitudes and azimuths of heavenly bodies, including fundamental mathematical methods. Meanwhile, another school of thought exists, which is to promote the use of simplified tables similar to those as prevalent in the thirtieth. This has been reflected in recent relevant magazines and even in some articles published in this journal. In this article the author briefly points out that neither of them is right. He is of the opinion that simplified tables are obsolete and that such tables as giving the results directly must be generally used. On the other hand, the author points out and analyses the serious defects which arise from the use of the latter types of existing tables. In many cases, ship officers must resort to the use of some fundamental mathematical tables. Hence, it is pointed out that Table 205 must be recompiled and at the same time the necessity that ship officers must be highly competent with the use of at least one of the best mathematical methods is emphasized. The article then goes on discussing the requirements that new tables must and can fulfill. The main points are: 1. to make azimuth tables no longer necessary. 2. To make the finding of required data simpler and much speedier. In some cases and to some extent more accurate. 3. To make the compilation more reasonable. After explaining the measures to be taken to achieve the object set forth,the author finally suggests some concrete recompilation schemes.

Two surface sea gravimeters DZY-2 (Fig.1) have been developed recently by Institute of Seismology, State Seismological Bureau, China, using chinese elements and equipments. This instrument consist of gravity acceleration sensor, signal separated system, and record system, which is characterized by high precision, simple structure, easy manipulation and stability as well as reliability etc., because some techniques of the pendulum structure with high stiffness,capacitive transducer and single-layer constant temperature cabinet etc. were used. Particularly, to adopt the same principle as force balanced-accelerometer, ability of work with high vertical acceleration is increased.c-c effect is so small that the c-c computer is eliminated.Environmental effect,calibrated and adjusted non-linearity for the sea gravimeter DZY-2 in laboratory had been testedTwo measurments with accuracy ±2.4 mgal are made for the sea gravimeter DZY-2 in science research ship Xiangyanghong 10 in Western Pacific ocean. During the first chinese Antarctic research expedition, the sea gravimeters are operated continuously for 152 days, in sometime of which max. vertical acceleration was 300 gal. The data over 22100 nautical mile are obtained.In the general, development of Chinese sea gravimeter DZY-2 is a great success. It is suitable for all ocean in the world.

我所最近研制的DZY-2型走航式海洋重力仪,采用高刚度横摆结构、精密电容测微、单层恒温等技术,具有精度高、结构简单、操作方便、可靠性和稳定性好等特点。特别是采用了和力平衡加速度计相同的原理,极大地提高了仪器的抗干扰加速度能力,省掉了C-C计算机。适用于远洋重力测量。 1983年10月DZY-2型海洋重力仪随向阳红10号船进行首次海上试验,向国家单位提供测量数据。1984年11月至1985年4月又在南极海域恶劣海况试验中始终正常,取得航途和南大洋大约22100浬的海洋重力资料。 本文介绍了DZY-2型海洋重力仪的基本原理、结构和一部分试验数据。

Based on the theory of marine traffic engineering and statistical analysis of many of the VTS in foreign countries, this paper presents the fundamental principle, criteria and the fuzzy synthetic evaluation model for the classification of VTS in Chinese sea ports.

提出了我国沿海港口VTS等级划分的基本原则、VTS管理程度的建议等级和各因素分级推荐标准,运用模糊综合评判方法建立了衡量港口VTS管理程度级别的数学模型,为我国沿海港口实施VTS系统提供了一种较为合理的科学的VTS等级划分方法。
