Abstract Automation monitoring in all of Ku Shan oil pipeline has changed into a reality, which achieved the target of safety、smoothing、steady and the optimal working condition in production management. Six techniques in the branch control center and seven techniques in the station control system are introduced. The examples of main pressure reducing control and original temperature transfer control with adding depressant are proposed. The role of automation and control program in production management, and the fruit of reducing person and increasing benefit of the system are also explained in this article.
