The pseudo-binary systems KIO3-NHJO3, RbIO3 etc. were studied by means of thermal analysis (DTA, TG) and Xray diffraction, and were found to be of continuous solid solutions. With addtion of KIO3 or RbIO3, the phase transition temperature of NH4IO3 is decreased and its decomposition (at the same time burning) temperature is raised; the room temperature phase of NH4IO3 (monoclinic) is transformed gradually into cubic phase with increasing content of KIO3 or RbIO3. Samples in the binary systems with NH4IO3 as a component exhibit good pyroelectric property. In this paper, the stability and the change of lattice parameter with compositions of the solid solutions that were found in alkalimetal iodate binary systems were also discussed.

The pseudo-binary system LiIO3-Zn(IO3)2 has been investigated and its phase diag-ram determined by means of X-ray diffraction and DTA, using specimens prepared by solid state powder sintering method. A new phase, the formula of which can be written as LiZn(IO3)3, has been found to exist in single phase within a wide range of composi-tions. It is an ionic conductor and has remarkable SHG effect as determined by the powder method. The lattice paremeters of the compound LiZn(IO3)3 have been determined by a computer...

It is an ionic conductor and has remarkable SHG effect as determined by the powder method. The lattice paremeters of the compound LiZn(IO3)3 have been determined by a computer programme, using the powder diffraction data. It is found that the compound belongs to orthorhombic system with a = 8.081 A, b = 8.729 A, c = 11.595 A, z = 4.

In the testing of powder sintering process, we made a high temperature furnace for molybdenum silicide in our own factory and mounted it on a refitted common oil press which was mounted with a set of special die.This device is called Repressing Device. After testing and verifging, such a device has proved itself to be reliable, cheap and easy to operate.

在对粉末烧结材料的试验过程中,自制了一台硅化钼高温加热炉,并将它装配到改装了的普通油压机上,配以专用模具工装,形成了一种复压装置。经验证,该装置工作稳定、造价低廉、试验简便易行。
