In this paper, testing results on the tin-alloyed cast iron cylinder-blocks for trucks are presented. The results obtained in the laboratory and in the mass production indicate that addition 0.05% Sn to melted iron HT20-40 containing 0.25-0.35% Cr can increase quantity of pearlite which occurs at the interior wall of the cylinder-blocks over 90%; its hardness is considerablly increased; undercooled layer is decreased; sensibility of the cross-section is decreased; permitted range of the chemical composition...

In this paper, testing results on the tin-alloyed cast iron cylinder-blocks for trucks are presented. The results obtained in the laboratory and in the mass production indicate that addition 0.05% Sn to melted iron HT20-40 containing 0.25-0.35% Cr can increase quantity of pearlite which occurs at the interior wall of the cylinder-blocks over 90%; its hardness is considerablly increased; undercooled layer is decreased; sensibility of the cross-section is decreased; permitted range of the chemical composition is increased; soundness and anticorrosion is inproved too; and at the same time, the technique of mechanical cutting is satisfied. Therefore, tin-alloyed cast iron for cylinder-blocks surely has long-live service. Inoculated iron by addition Sn is discussed in detail. According to the refinement of eutectic cells, improvement of sensibility of the cross-section, decreasing tendency to chilling, decreasing the amount of undercooled graphite and increasing mechanical properties, in comparision with the iron no added with Sn, it indicates that Sn can inoculate melted iron. Besides, The formation of the undercooled layer in the cylinder-blocks and the effect on the layer by the addition of Sn have been explained.

In this paper, the principle of calculation of the heat release rates in diesel engine and the method of calculation are described. The smoothing treatment of the data and the effect of the retardation of the pressure wave are considered. The experimental formula of the specific heat of the gas is revised and tie experimental formula of heat transfer in the cylinder presented by G. Woschni is adopted.

By means of combustion photograph, it was revealed that one of the causes refered to the appearance of after combustion and higher heat load in the slow and medium speed supercharged diesel engine is due to the distribution of fuel and air in the cylinder being not fited with each other. In order to change the unfavorable condition, it is necessary to take some measures for reducing or eliminating the over rich mixture area around fuel injector under cylinder head. This paper presents the following processes. (1 ) Increasing the amount of early injection portion before ignition and reducing the total injection duration. By the way of decreasing the under fuel pressure area of injector needle before lifting and raising the opening injection pressure, it is beneficial to reduce the contacting stress while needle valve is closing. And aslo, the maximum combustion pressure and exhaust temperature has been lowered in practice. In the mean time, it gives positive effect to the elimination of after injection and cavitation in the fuel injection system. (2)Crrying out film-atomization combustion system in the direct injection w type combution chamber. This combustion system applied in the supercharged diesel engine presents two particul ar characteristics which are lower maximum combustion pressure and higher air utilization. Combining these two points, it results that the mechanial and heat load and the air consumption of supercharged diesel engine can be lowered.

通过中速机缸内照像,揭示出中低速增压柴油机后燃和热负荷高的根源之一;是由于燃油与空气在缸内分布互不适应。改变这种状况的主攻方向之一,是在于排除缸盖下喷油器外围混合气过浓区。 本文介绍了以下方面的探索: 1.缩短射油持续期;增大初期射油比例。 用降低喷油器承压面积比,提高启喷压力的措施,减小针阀落座的接触应力和降低缸内机械负荷和热负荷,同时,对解决燃油系统中两次喷射和空蚀现象亦有积极作用。 2.在直接喷射式ω型燃烧室中实行油膜-雾化燃烧,具有最大燃烧压力低和燃烧恶化拐点的进气压力低两大特点,这对减轻机器的热负荷与机械负荷,提高比功率,减少耗气量等方面有积极作用。
