ABSTRACT An X-ray examination of the deep-green-coloured,hexagonal-prismatic or hexagonal-bipyramidal-shaped crystals of the di-ammine complex of copper (Ⅱ) silver (Ⅰ) trithio-cyanate,obtained on mixing CuSO_4 and K_2Ag(SCN)_3 in a dilute ammoniacal solution,gives the following crystallographic data:a=9.22?,c=7.38?,containing two Cu(NH_3)_2Ag(SCN)_3 per unit cell (ρ_(obs.)=2.308g/cm~3,ρ_(calc.)=2.319g/cm~3).On the basis of the Patterson projections P_0(u,v) and P_o(u,w),we are able to assign D_(3h~4—? as its space group and establish the structure of this crystal with R=13% for the respective (hk0) and (h0l) diffraction data. In this crystal each Ag atom is octahedrally coordinated to six thiocyanate S atoms,and each S atom is in turn linked to two Ag atoms,so that the AgS_6 octahedra are capable of sharing faces normal to the 6-fold improper axis and extending indefinitely in the c direction,with the following bond length and bond angles:Ag—S=2.94?,∠S_I—Ag—S_I=86°,∠S_I—Ag—S_(II)=87°.On the other hand,each Cu atom is coordinated triangular-bipyramidally to three thiocyanate N_I atoms as well as two ammine N_(II) atoms,with the following bond lengths and bond angles:Cu—N_I=1.92?,Cu—N_(II)=2.00?,∠Cu—N_(I)—C=177°.It is interesting to note that the coordination ability of the SCN ligands has exhibited itself to the fullest extent in the structure of this crystal;thus each SCN ligand is linked to two Ag and one Cu atoms through its terminal S and N atoms respectively.The whole structure,therefore,forms a compact three-dimensional network.

In this paper a group of sequencss wtih a δ-function autocorrelation are defined as the complementary-type sequences.Six kieds of sequences are presented and compared, and then it is shown that the basic form among them is the complementary series, and the others can be derived or generalized from it.The progresses of signal processing techniques have now led to a successful development of the complementary series phase reversal coded pulse compression radars, which have a low range sidelobe level within a narrow doppler spread range. A pair of the complementary series can be isolated from each other via time-sharing, frequency sharing, etc. The optimal pairs of complementary series and the optimal series should be selected according to the sidelobe level of the ambiguity function that is as low as possible.It had been demonstrated that the compleimntary series formed by concatenating, interleaving and mating, provide some radio navigation systems, such as Loran-C, with the possibilities of supressing the sky wave interference, automatic searching, recognizing and tracking.The complementary series also find its applications in the acoustic surface, -wave transducer coding and the infrared spectrometry.

A new approach to evaluate the stress intensity factors for a three-dimensional crack is proposed. By introducing a concept that the stress intensity factor at any point varies according to its orientation, together with a correlation formula, a three-dimensional crack problem is treated as a set of two-dimensional discrete parallel plates. A new approach to evaluate the stress intensity factors for a three-dimensional crack is proposed. By introducing a concept that the stress intensity factor at any point varies according to its orientation, together with a correlation formula, a three-dimensional crack problem is treated as a set of two-dimensional discrete parallel plates. Such twosets of cracked plates sharing the same crack tips are analyzed with the aid of available solutions for two-dimensional crack problems. The variation of stress intensity factoralong the crack front is then determined. As illustration, problems for an embeddedsquare crack in an infinite body under uniform tensile load and a well-known semi-circular surface flaw in a half space are solved by the present method.

本文提出了一个新的计算三维裂纹应力强度因子的近以方法。文中引进了一个概念,即裂纹边界上任一点的应力强度因子值是按不同的方向而改变的,并列出了它们之间的关系式。一个三维裂纹问题于是就可作为一系列分离的平行板片来处理。文中借用现有的二维裂纹问题的解,对两组具有共同裂纹端点的系列板片进行了分析;从而求得三维裂纹应力强度因子沿其裂纹周界的变化曲线。作为应用示例,文中采用本方法求解了一个无限体内埋方形片状裂纹面承受均匀拉伸的问题和一个熟知的、半无限体边界上存在半圆形表面缺陷的问题。
