Coal measure rocks usually exhibit evident rheplogical characters, A formula, applicable to Theological rockmass that follows H-K model, showing the relationship among the relative radial displacement of a round bore-hole, the ground stresses, and parameters representing the deformation characters of rockmass, has been derived from the linear visco-elastic theory. By using this formula the ground stresses and deformation parameters could be: calculated from the measured displacement around a borehole. Since the displacement of the Theological rockmass will be further developing after the borehole is finished,displacement can be measured without using the stress-relief method. The author suggests that for the Theological rockmass measurements of displacement may be conducted in the mine openings of round section.

In this paper the virgin stress field in rock mass is solved by applying the plane stress elastic theory. The virgin stress field is superimposed from gravity and tectonic stress. The analytical form of tectonic stress field is given, and thereafter, the objective law that the vertical part of the virgin stress may be greater than gravity is proved. The principal stress trace of tectonic stress field and the fracture orientation and failure criterion of the rock mass are also pointed out.

本文应用弹性理论将原岩应力场作为平面问题进行求解,并将自重应力与地质构造应力的叠加作为原岩应力,给出了构造应力场的解析解,从而论证了垂直原岩应力可以大于自重的这一客观规律,也给出了构造应力的主应力迹线、岩体破裂方向和破坏条件。
