The author has established two plane Cartesian Coordinates, respectively fixed in the plate cam and its follower. By means of the translational formula for the two cooordinates cited above, the equations for the plate cam profiles and those for the centri loci of their cutters have been derived. These equations can yet be applied to the roller yoke cam, surface yoke cam and conjugate cam.

The formula in thearticle is used to solve the problem of conversion bet ween the law of swinging follower rotation angle andthat of the equivalent displacement of translating roller measuring ball.The program system includs the following: the program for interpolation, the program for value of sample insert, the program for estimation of theoretical error of the indirect way,etc. The way mentioned in the article not only solves the problem of the plate cam profile of swinging follower, which is difficult or can not be solved,but also make the cam maserument used widely. And in this way, the instrument can made full use of and has a high or economic benefit.

论述了微机辅助盘形凸轮的设计及制造过程,开发了简单、实用的应用软件—CAMDM系统,解决了CAD技术和CAM技术的一体化问题。在CAD技术中,设计师可借助该系统的无因次曲线图,选择最佳运动规律,设计出满足压力角、曲率半径及运动不失真等条件的凸轮机构,还可进行优化设计,设计结果(运动线图、凸轮廓线及刀具中心轨迹)可在屏幕及绘图机上输出加以检验,在CAM技术中,该系统根据CAD结果,将刀具中心轨迹生成NC程序,调用通讯软件,借助RS-232c接口,直接将微机与机床相连,实现双向数据交换,加工出满意凸轮。
