The software and hardware design of an intelligent electric treadmill controller based on AVR single chip ATmega128 were presented.The single chip was used as the core controller to directly control the treadmill and the computer provided the cruise of virtual reality (VR) scenes.To control the electrical treadmill this controller offered several control functions:digital input,digital output, impulse signal input,matrix keyboard input, serial communication.It equipped both the touch screen and touch keys and they cooperated by serial communication.It functioned well in use and met the design requirement.

介绍了基于AVR单片机ATmega128的智能电动跑步机控制器的软、硬件设计。系统采用上、下位机的结构,上位机提供虚拟场景漫游和人机界面的显示,下位机以单片机为核心控制器,通过多路开关量输入/输出、编码器信号输入、矩阵式键盘输入、与上位机的串行通信等对电动跑步机进行实时控制。在操作上采用触摸屏与薄膜按键结合的方式,通过串行通信实现上下位机的协调,在实际应用中运行稳定,达到设计要求。
