This paper gives a comprehensive account of the past, present and future development of the electromagnetic propulsion technology in the world. The advantages of the electromagnetic gun and the possibility to form a new type of defensive weapon system based upon the electromagnetic gun are analyzed. Furthermore the feasibility of using the electromagnetic gun as weapons against aircraft, tanks, satellites, tactical missiles, strategic ballistic missiles, etc. is discussed. The electromagnetic propulsion technology will play an importent role in the future development of the space technology and national economy. The author believes that, along with its maturity and wide application, the electromagnetic propulsion technology will have a considerable significance not inferior to the use of the rocket propulsion technology.

Deriving the straight-line orbits of explosively formed projectiles in the Super Close-in Defensive Weapon System by means of building ground coordinates and target coordinates,applying the conversion of ground coordinates to target coordinates.According to the hit criterion that there are only two points between an explosively formed projectile's orbit and the circular cylinder surface of the target,whether the explosively formed projectile hits the target or not is decided.The hit criterion is applied in the simulation of all kinds of different distributed plans and the consistent result in theoretical computation and simulation computation proves the accuracy of the hit criterion.

通过建立地面坐标系、目标坐标系且运用地面坐标系向目标坐标系转化的方法,推导出超近程防护系统中攻击单元在目标坐标系中的直线轨迹,提出攻击单元的直线轨迹与来袭目标圆柱体表面有且仅有2个交点时攻击单元与来袭目标交汇的交汇准则,依据提出的交汇准则来判定攻击单元是否命中来袭目标.此交汇准则己经应用到攻击单元分布方案的统计模拟计算,模拟计算结果与理论计算相符,证明此准则的准确性并且提高了统计模拟计算的效率.
