The SCTP protocol is a new transmission layer's protocol. The multihoming is one of the most important features in SCTP protocols. In this article, the multipath transfer using SCTP multihoming is discussed and the challenges with multipath transfer are analyzed. A new algorithm is proposed to avoid the reordering at the receiver. Through simulations, the unnecessary fast retransmissions at the sender are corrected.

SCTP协议是新兴的传输层协议,具有许多值得开发的新特性,多归属主机特性就是其中之一。分析了多归属主机特性下数据的多路径同时传输的意义与存在的问题,并在此基础上提出了改进的协议算法,通过试验,改进后的算法解决了发送端不必要的快重传的问题,从而使得SCTP多归属主机特性下的多路径数据同时传输成为可能。

多宿是SCTP协议的一个重要特点,利用这个特点,发送端可以将数据通过不同的路径发送给接收端。虽然SCTP提供了对多宿的支持,但仅仅是为了提高关联的可靠性,当前SCTP协议只允许同时使用一条路径传输数据;如果能够同时利用多条路径传输数据,必能极大提升关联的吞吐量。分析了基于SCTP多宿特点的多路径同时传输关键技术,这些关键技术包括快重传触发技术、拥塞控制窗口增长技术、延迟应答技术、接收端缓冲区阻塞减轻技术以及重传时的路径选择技术。
