This paper introduces a new mechanism to realize the semantic interoperability of Geographic Information Systems. Firstly we demonstrate the validity of the mechanism (or hypothesis) of using ontology to realize the semantic interoperability. Secondly we discuss detailedly how ontology and data mining work as the foundation of this mechanism. By semantic relation of the ontologies, we can construct an integrated ontology which comes from difference ontology systems. By data mining, the mechanism can make sure that the convert set of the ontology is discussed and the convert set comes from another ontology system. By using the convert set user's operations are rewritten and carried out so that the translations across these ontology systems are obtained. So the robustness and scalability of the semantic interoperability of Geographic Information Systems are improved.

This paper uses semantic Web to implement sharing of GIS.Because WSDL only has interface of service,user can not choose which service fits him when there are several services.This technology adds semantic part into WSDL,and when user looks for a service,it compares each WSDL with user’s profile ontology.It uses schema-graph to implement comparing between WSDL and OWL,by this way,integrates ontology to grid.

采用语义网格技术实现GIS信息共享。由于WSDL文件只有服务的接口信息,当用户调用多个GIS服务时,不能判断哪一个服务更符合要求。采用将WSDL中加入语义功能,将用户的需求本体与WSDL进行匹配的方法实现网格服务功能的查找。文中采用模式图作为WSDL和OWL的匹配中介,实现了本体与网格的结合。
