Bonding force between the layer and base was tested by scratching.The results showed that a good chromizing hardening layer could be also gained at low temperatures by double glow plasma surface chromizing process. The layer consisted of sediment layer, carbide layer and solid solution layer.

Double glow plasma surface chromizing was carried out on the surface of Ti2AlNb to improve its wear resistance.The microstructure and morphology of the chromized layer were examined by a scanning electronic microscopy and X-ray diffraction,and the composition distribution was analyzed by glow discharge spectrum.The micro-hardness from the surface to center was also measured.The friction and wear behaviors of the specimens sliding against TiAlN ceramic in a ball-on-disc mode and under unlubricated condition were investigated.The results indicate that the thickness of the chromized layer reaches 30 μm.The surface content of Cr was about 38% and decreased in gradient along the distance from the surface to center.Cr existed in the form of Al5Cr8,Cr2Nb and Cr2Ti.The surface hardness was above 950HV.The average friction was about 0.10,much lower than that of Ti2AlNb matrix.The wear mass loss was just one twentieth that of Ti2AlNb matrix.

采用双层辉光等离子表面冶金技术对Ti2AlNbO相合金进行渗Cr处理,采用扫描电子显微镜、辉光放电光谱分析仪及X射线衍射仪分析了渗Cr层的微观组织、化学成分及相组成,由表及里测试了渗层显微硬度分布,通过无润滑条件下的球-盘式摩擦磨损试验研究了渗Cr处理对其摩擦磨损性能的影响.结果表明:渗Cr层厚度约30μm,表面Cr含量达38%且由表及里呈梯度分布;渗Cr层主要由Al8Cr5、AlNb2及Cr2Nb、Cr2Ti等相组成,硬度达950HV,渗Cr试样的平均摩擦系数为0.10;磨损率仅为Ti2AlNb基材的1/20.
